Tacos!

Oh hello here are some tacos we ate in chronological order, in California 2009.

El Coyote, LA & Danny's Deli, Venice Beach

Kogi Korean Taco Truck* & LA Farmers Market

Taqueria Castillo in SF & Nopalito, SF*

Pancho Villa, SF & somewhere on Market St, SF

Market St, SF & Baja Fresh in a Service Station on the drive back from SF to LA

*Special written super praises may follow for Kogi & Nopalito, easily the kings of 2009 Taco Adventures!

  10. Matt, I've never understood Mexican food. I'd like to, so can you explain why one should care about tacos? Matt D

  11. Ohhh Matt D you make me so sad I don't even know where to begin

  12. Matt D,
    Bah.
Do you like Vietnamese food? I bet you do. I bet you like it for its freshness, its regional diversity, its aggressive use of herbs, its bold flavours. Mexican food has all of those things! Good Mexican bears little relation to the bastardised Tex Mex you're thinking of.

  13. please note tex mex can also be awesome though!
